It’s all right there in the name: Fuller is, of course, my name, but it also describes my support for your interactions with your partners.

Among the most important interactions to develop is our teamwork together. You know what you want to accomplish, you know how much time you have and you know what you are good and not good at; I have a lot of ideas, but only a small proportion will fit what you need. Between the two of us, we’ll figure out how to reach your goals.

The business plan tells me I have to have a USP. So, here goes! I aim to be there when you need me to do what you need me to do.

Whatever your goals are, I have most likely encountered something similar over the 30 plus years I’ve been a communications pro. I’ve worked with companies large and small, with the private sector and public sector, with individuals and groups, heavy industry and service companies, long-term and one-and-done, more industries than I have space to name.

What I have found is that what many people need is a solution to an immediate problem, or perhaps a series of immediate problems. Sometimes, a simple fix beats long-term development on all the important measures: time, cost and quality. Once you’ve completed this task, then you can consider whether a longer-term development plan makes sense.

Even my ideas on a long-term development plan have an element of solving ongoing problems rather than a hypothetical problem in the future. Public speaking development leans on your own past presentations, improving them as an exercise to create the next one. Developing your writing skills uses past texts to be more fully prepared for the next one.
